Site work and paving for a civil project in Ferron, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a development; for paving for a development; road / highway; and road / highway.
TSJ was awarded the contract for $1,299,645.85 The project involves placement of riprap along Ferron Canyon Road within the Millsite Reservoir and installation of fish habitat improvements. Placement of riprap will include a combination of excavation and fill placement to prepare the subgrade in addition to placement of the riprap. A portion of the needed riprap is provided by the owner with the balance being produced by the contractor at a borrow area near the project site. Production of riprap from the borrow area cannot commence until April 15. Fish habitat improvements involve use of 61 root balls from cottonwood trees removed as part of the site preparation for riprap placement. Willow cuttings will be planted in the riprap to compensate for wetland disturbance. OPENING: Contact Engineer for full Invitation to Bid. Bidding Documents will be available on February 17, 2023.
