Box Elder High School Turf Replacement for Box Elder School District. Box Elder High School is converting their existing natural grass field to a synthetic field. The synthetic turf & base courses are being handle by the district as a state contract and are not part of this project, however, coordination with the turf contractor will be required and their timeline is dependent upon this project. Overall project includes the removal of natural grass and soil per grading plan to allow synthetic turf and base courses to be installed. Removal of any irrigation exposed in field, capping irrigation main line outside of track, install turf perimeter drainage system and boxes, tie into existing sleeve and run drainage outside track to new sump. Repair all irrigation and sod damaged outside of track. Install electrical lines in boxes in field per plan. Other items per plans. Provide lump sum bids for divisions 02000 thru 16000 for Construction phase as per Architectural drawings and specifications. This project will begin May 15, 2023, and will occur through September 6, 2023. The package will be bid using a low bid best Value selection process. No pre-bid meeting will be held. Upon receipt of a contract in excess of $150,000.00, the successful Contractor: shall furnish to the Owner (at the CM/Owner's option) a 100 percent Performance and Payment Bond in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Bonds will be required on all bids in excess of $150,000.00 DWA Construction, Inc. and the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in any bid or in the bidding.
