Site work for a water / sewer project in Athens, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The services include inspection and construction testing services for a portion of the Southwest Sewer and Waterline Improvements Project. The project includes installation of gravity sewer line between Stagecoach Road and Dairy Lane, and the installation of a gravity sewer line and a water line on Dairy Lane, in Athens Ohio. The inspection and construction testing services are requested for the Dairy Lane section of the project (Corporation Limits to Richland Avenue) only. The selected firm will provide on-site inspection including physical inspection of construction and materials testing services. The selected firm will work directly for the City Engineer, the Assistant City Engineer, and the City Inspector to see that the project is built properly. The selected firm should expect to have an inspector on-site for an average of 12-24 hours per week. This amount will be flexible based on the construction activity taking place. Project Schedule Tentative Commencement: June, 2023 Interim Completion: November, 2023 Final Completion: November, 2024
