Period of Contract: From the date of signed contract not to exceed two (2) months. Extensions of time to complete the study may be granted at the sole discretion of the County. The purpose of the request for proposal is to solicit proposals from qualified firms to enter into a contract to provide a classification and compensation study for both Surry County's approximately 165 full and part-time employees. The County's goal is to update its classification system, review FLSA guidelines, and provide competitive pay levels to its employees. All inquiries for information and clarification should be submitted electronically to: Melissa Rollins, County Administrator, mrollins@surrycountyva.gov, not later than five (5) business days before the proposal closing date. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
