Pavement replacement and resurfacing with storm sewer repairs including: PVMNT REM (49,500 SY), HMA SURF REM 1.75" (15,900 SY), AGG SUBGRADE IMP 12" (9,900 SY), RDUM (2,800 CY), HMA SURFACE (7,100 TON), HMA BINDER (7,500 TON), CURB AND GUTTER (37,500 FT), DRAINAGE STRUCTURES (70 EA), STORM PIPE (800 LF), PCC SIDEWALK (49,000 SF), PCC DWY PVMT 6" (3,300 SY), AND OTHER RELATED ITEMS OF WORK. No less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor or determined by the court on review shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract. The Village of Park Forest is located in Cook and Will Counties. The Village of Park Forest is exempt from the Illinois State, municipal or county Retailers Occupation Tax, Service Occupation Tax, Use Tax, and Service Use Tax as described in Illinois Compiled Statute Chapter 35. Bid prices shall not include the cost of such taxes. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check or bank draft payable to the Village of Park Forest for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions. Rejection of Bids. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities.
