For a HVAC Replacement project at the Gasconade County R-I School District, 176 Bearcat Crossing. The project consists of the replacement of 22 rooftop units at Hermann High School located at 176 Bearcat Crossing. All replacement units shall meet the minimum efficiency requirements shown in the unit specifications. The contractor shall provide all the necessary equipment, labor, materials, tools, supplies, components, and means of disposal to successfully complete the replacement of existing HVAC units within a fixed-price contract. The contractor is responsible for compliance with all building codes; work not in compliance with the codes shall be deemed unacceptable. Care must be taken to avoid damaging the roof where work is being performed. All existing equipment must be disposed of by the contractor in accordance with the law. All work is to be completed in accordance with State of Missouri prevailing wage laws. Procure and install new like-for-like Carrier high-efficiency RTUs. All equipment proposed must have a minimum 14 SEER rating. Also include an alternate proposal of 16 SEER or higher efficiency equipment. All equipment must accept 460 Volt- 3 phase power. New units must have hail guards installed Proposed/Installed unit weight shall not exceed 5% above existing RTU weight. Reuse existing through-roof curbs, or provide the necessary curb adapters. Install new B31R style gas regulators, gas shutoffs, gas line, conduits, wiring, and drain lines at unit location. Reuse existing through roof conduit, wiring, disconnects, and duct work. Equipment must have a Demand Controlled Ventilation air intake system installed with a unit mounted air quality controller. Equipment shall be quoted with stainless steel heat exchangers. Controls Integrate existing fire alarm systems into new equipment. Install new programmable thermostats and remote room air sensors with a minimum of 2 heat/2 cool stages in place of existing controls.
