Tennessee Department of Transportation Division of Aeronautics requires the Focused Environmental Assessment form be available for public review and comment. The project consists of the removal of existing trees located at the Robert Sibley Airport and are on airport property. The tree removal is to increase safety and help ensure that the trees do not become obstructions to future airport operations. The anticipated start date for clearing the trees will be mid to late Spring 2023. Comments regarding the contents of this document will be heard at the Public Meeting on March 2, 2023, or may be sent before the meeting to Jason Dittrich, Senior Civil Engineer at jasond@a2h.com. The Robert Sibley Airport, and Engineering consultant, A2H, Inc. are pleased to announce the date and time of a public input meeting regarding the Focused Environmental Assessment for the Tree Clearing project at the airport. This project is funded under a grant contract with the State of Tennessee.
