Renovation of a power facility in Kennewick, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
For Vista Substation Masonry Wall Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, certified or cashier's check payable to the order of the Benton PUD for a sum not less than 5% of the amount of the bid, with a corporate Surety licensed to do business in the State of Washington The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Surety or Performance Bond for 100% of the contract price. Scope of Work Phase 1 Phase 1 of the masonry fence to be installed includes roughly 195 feet of fence consisting of: Footing (Dwg VST-D-P008-1, Dwg VST-D-P008-3) 1'2" thick by 3'6" wide for panels 1'2" thick by 4'6" wide for pilasters 13 or 15 courses (typical) of split faces CMU block with 2" cap (See General Notes VST-D-P008-1, VST-D-P008-3) 16"x16" Pilasters, with 2" cap (See General Notes VST-D-P008-1, VST-D-P008-3) 2 - 4" O.D. galvanized gate posts with caps 2 - 2-7/8" O.D. galvanized fence posts with caps (to tie in existing fence) 20' Double Swing Gate, galvanized chain link, with 3 strands of barbed wire, gate apron pocket for catch lock. o All rebar, grout, slip ties, joint sealant, barbed wire arms, barbed wire (Hearne #013811 or equal) per general notes and drawing details. Care should be taken in reviewing existing grades vs. finished grades shown on drawings. Phase 2 Phase 2 is not shown on the drawing set, but it is intended to continue the footing, wall panels, pilasters, reinforcement, and barbed wire east along the north boundary of the substation terminating near the northeast corner of the substation with general design requirements shown for Phase 1 except material for this portion of the wall will be entirely smooth faced block. No grading modifications are planned for this area. The termination of this portion of the wall will include a 90 E/W to N/S corner along the existing fence line with a fence post installed per detail C-C/P008-1 or D-D/P008-1 on Dwg VST-D-P008-2 and section detail C-C or D-D on Dwg VST-D-P008-4.
