All bids must be sealed in a plainly marked envelope, addressed to the Director of Public Works, City of Somerton, 143 N. State Street, Somerton, AZ, 85350. Pursuant to A.R.S. 34-201, the bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or a surety bond - payable to the City of Somerton, AZ for at least 10% of the total bid price as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract to perform the bid in accordance with the plans and project manual, within 10 days after the Notice of Award. 4. The City will award the contract in compliance with the laws of the State of Arizona, and the Contractor will be required to perform any contract awarded in compliance with all applicable Federal laws, State of Arizona laws and City of Somerton ordinances.
