Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Somerton, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of December 7, 2023 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The City of Somerton reserves the right to cancel this procurement, and/or reject and/or all bids, and/or to waive any informalities or irregularities in a bid. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the bid opening thereof. The project shall be complete and in place within 120 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. This project is funded with Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH). The Contractor shall comply with all applicable requirements, including the payment of Davis-Bacon wages and maintenance of certified payrolls. Proposals will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Each bid will be submitted on the Proposal Form and be accompanied by a certified or cashiers check or bid in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the bid.
