This Request for Proposals (RFP) is being issued by the University of Kentucky to obtain proposals from qualified, experienced, financially sound, and responsible firms to establish a contract(s) for Locks, Keys, Door Hardware, and Related Supplies. Offerors have the option to submit proposals for single or multiple categories. For each category in which the Offeror submits pricing, it is recommended that at least 80% of the items within the applicable Core List are quoted, or, to the best of your ability. The University reserves the right to award multiple contracts if it's determined to be in the best interest of the University. The contract resulting from this RFP shall be effective for one (1) year from the date of award and is renewable for up to four (4) additional one-year renewal periods. Annual renewal shall be contingent upon the University's satisfaction with the services performed. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals (or parts of proposals), to waive any informalities or technicalities, to clarify any ambiguities in proposals and (unless otherwise specified) to accept any item in the proposal. In case of error in extension or prices or other errors in calculation, the unit price shall govern. Further, the University reserves the right to make a single award, split awards, multiple awards or no award, whichever is in the best interest of the University Deadline for Written Questions 3 p.m. Eastern Time on 02/17/2023
