All work on this Contract is to be completed within 84 days after the Notice to Proceed. Scope of Work: There is significant wall board damage around the perimeter of the windows at Poucher Hall. It has been determined that this is not a masonry issue, but instead, a thermal issue. The report and thermal imaging is showing us that the windows are very drafty and that the furring around the exterior wall has minimal to zero insulation value. To address this problem we need to fully insulate the furring cavity at exterior walls in the area. Dense pack cellulose has been recommended for use for this project. This can be done from the interior and will minimize the destruction of the wall boards. Contractors should submit all questions no later than five (5) business days after the virtual walkthru.
