The Western Beaver County School District invites sealed bids for HVAC Upgrades at its Elementary and High School buildings. The project will be a delegated design for the installation of the air purifiers on existing equipment, ground mounted RTUs and ductless heating/cooling units at the two schools within the Western Beaver County School District. Frye Engineering will only accept checks as a form of payment for the project manual and shipping costs. No bid will be considered from a bidder who does not attend this meeting. Notice is given that the project will be partially funded by the proceeds of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) ESSERS Program and the proned in CFR art 200, including all sections and appendices shall apply to this project. Bidders shall utilize the Davis Bacon Wage Rates for their wage determination. Bids must remain valid for acceptance for 65 days following submission. Each bid must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee of not less than ten (10%) percent of the total of the base bid and by a non-collusion affidavit, qualification questionnaire and a Pennsylvania Certificate of Authority (if applicable) and Bryd Anti-Lobbying Certificate. Bids received will be referred to the District Administration for review and recommendation and potential award at the meeting of the Board of School Directors to be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in the Boardroom at Fairview Elementary School, 343 Ridgemont Drive, Midland, PA 15059. Western Beaver County School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part; to waive any informalities or imperfections in the bids; to alter the scope of the work; and to award the contract to the most responsible provider that serves the best interests of the District.
