For Bushnell-Prairie City High School Windows and Auditorium Renovations Building Site is located at: Bushnell Prairie City High School, 845 Walnut Street, Bushnell, Illinois 61422 1. Windows: Contractor provide for the installation of new aluminum windows at locations indicated on the plans. It is approximately two windows per regular classroom. This work shall be coordinated with a separate asbestos abatement contract. The General Contractor shall remove exterior corrugated metal siding and 3.5" cold formed framing and insulation from exterior (in front of the existing original steel windows which remain in place for abatement contractor). Abatement contractor will remove the existing steel windows - glass & frames- as there is asbestos containing glazing compound present. After the asbestos containing windows are removed, general contractor shall be responsible for the temporary installation of plywood/plastic/waterproof covering over window openings for weather protection. GC will install new aluminum windows in existing framing openings, with interior and exterior returns as shown. 2. Auditorium Renovations: The existing auditorium shall undergo remodeling. Remove existing and provide new audience seating. Provide new ceilings as shown. Provide new decorative acoustical wall treatments as shown. Replace lighting systems as shown. Provide new projector and screen as shown. Provide modifications to the stage. Provide modifications to the sound/control booth as shown. 3.
