The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to request formal competitive sealed bids through the Invitation to Bid process to establish a contract for the purchase of Water Treatment Chemicals to be used in the Rockingham County Water Treatment Facility. Rockingham County is looking to establish a contract to purchase water treatment chemicals for a one year period with an option of 4 one year renewals. All prices shall be F.O.B. Destination and include all charges that may be imposed in fulfilling the terms of the contract. The contractor agrees that for unit price contracts, prices shall remain firm for 365 days. If the price is increased after 365 days, the unit price may be increased only upon approval of a written request to Rockingham County. Upon receipt of the Contractor's request, the County shall make a determination to approve or adjust the requested price increase based upon its investigations and the information provided by the contractor. All deliveries will be made to 3275 Three Springs Road, McGaheysville, VA 22840.
