Description: The work generally consists of: 1. Schedule 1: City-Wide Pavement Patching and Miscellaneous Street Improvements a. Base Bid: Bituminous patching, concrete curb and gutter, concrete valley gutters, concrete driveways, concrete sidewalks, landscape restoration and seeding - various locations throughout the City of Ray. 2. Schedule 2: Street Reconstruction b. Base Bid: Removal of existing street surfacing and installation of approximately 9,677 SY of 4" bituminous pavement with geogrid reinforcement, 2,272 LF concrete curb and gutter, and other associated improvements. 3. Schedule 3: Chip Seal a. Base Bid: Chip seal approximately 21,191 SY of city streets, including cleaning of existing cracks prior to chip seal and applying CSS-1H emulsified fog seal after chip seal. b. Additive Alternate: Addition of scrub brush requirements applied to the 21,191 SY of city streets chip seal per SECTION 32 12 36.14 - SCRUB SEAL COATS. c. Qualifications: To demonstrate the Bidder's qualifications to perform the Work, within five (5) calendar days of the OWNER's request, Bidder shall submit written evidence of previous experience in performing scrub seal applications One or two contract may be awarded. Schedule 3 may be awarded separately from Schedules 1 and 2. The award will be based on the lowest responsive, responsible bids on the Base Bid Schedules and Additive Alternates selected by the OWNER.
