The work generally consists of: 1. Schedule 1: Demolition a. Base Bid: Removal of existing well building and associated appurtenances. 2. Schedule 2: Prefabricated Building a. Base Bid: Install slab foundation and prefabricated building to house new surge tank. 3. Schedule 3: Surge Tank and Site Improvements a. Base Bid: Install surge tank with connection to water main. Install access road and surface restoration. 4. Qualifications: To demonstrate the Bidder's qualifications to perform the Work, within five (5) calendar days of the OWNER's request, Bidder shall submit written evidence of previous experience in performing waterworks/process piping installations. Contract Time: 1. All Construction Schedules shall be substantially complete and ready for OWNER use and pre-final inspection within ninety (90) calendar days of August 1, 2024 or within ninety (90) calendar days of the date on which on-site work is started, whichever is earlier. 2. All construction schedules shall be finally complete and ready for final payment within thirty (30) calendar days of substantial completion. 3. The CONTRACTOR shall pay the OWNER $1,700.00 for each day or part of a day that expires after the time specified for Substantial Completion of any construction schedule until the Work is substantially complete.
