Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ray, North Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work generally consists of: 1. Schedule 1: Water Main Extensions a. Base Bid: Open-cut installation of approximately 340 LF of 6-inch water main and 3,635 LF of 8-inch water main including valves, hydrants, fittings, and other associated appurtenances. Horizontal directionally drilled installation of approximately 105 LF of 8-inch water main. Jack and Bored installation of approximately 280 LF of 8-inch water main and 16-inch casing. Surface restoration will include aggregate and grass surfacing. 2. Schedule 2: Sanitary Sewer CIPP Rehabilitation a. Base Bid: Trenchless cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation of approximately 2,977 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer main, approximately 46 internally CIPP-sealed service lateral connections, CIPP rehabilitation of approximately 30 existing service laterals from the main to the property line, and installation of 2 sanitary sewer manholes. Open-cut replacement of existing sanitary sewer mains/laterals will be included as necessary. Surface restoration will include asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, and landscaping. b. Qualifications: To demonstrate the Bidder's qualifications to perform the Work, within five (5) calendar days of the OWNER's request, Bidder shall submit written evidence of previous experience in performing municipal trenchless sewer main and sewer service renovation using Cured-In-Place-Pipe methods, previous experience in performing horizontal directionally drilled water mains, and previous experience in performing jack and bore pipe/casing installations. Contract Time: 1. Schedule 1: a. Construction Schedule 1 must be substantially complete and ready for Owner's use and pre-final inspection within ninety (90) calendar days of the date issued in the Notice to Proceed of Schedule 1. Notice to Proceed to be issued no later than 30 days after the fully executed Construction Agreement. 2. Schedule 2: a. Construction Schedule 2 must be substantially complete and ready for Owner's use and pre-final inspection within ninety (90) calendar days of the date issued in the Notice to Proceed of Schedule. 2. Notice to Proceed to be issued no later than 30 days after the fully executed Construction Agreement. 3. Each construction schedule shall be finally complete and ready for final payment within thirty (30) calendar days of substantial completion. 4. The Contractor shall pay the Owner $1,700.00 for each day or part of a day that expires after the time specified for Substantial Completion of any construction schedule until the Work is substantially complete. The maximum amount the Contractor will pay is $1,700.00 per calendar day regardless of the number of construction schedules or alternates that are not substantially complete per the time described above.
