The lone / awarded respondent is as follows: Bluum USA Inc. The Purchase Order was issued on 4/25/2023 which also acted as the Notice to Proceed. For Montagne Center Audio / Visual Systems and Equipment Upgrade. Lamar University is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals for the selection of one Contractor to provide Audio/Visual System & Equipment Upgrades at the Montagne Event Center. Question Deadline 03/09/2023 at 12:00 PM CT The Statewide HUB goals per TAC 20.13 are: 11.2 % for heavy construction other than building contracts; 21.1% for all building construction, including general contractors and operative builder's contracts; 32.9 % for all special trade construction contracts; 23.7 % for professional services; 26 % for all other services contracts; and 21.1 % for commodities contracts. The Respondent shall provide a complete, workable and operational system(s) including all labor, equipment, tools, material, engineering, supervision, licenses, insurance, permits and bonds to engineer, manufacture and install a fully integrated and operational system(s) highlighted by the following: o Loudspeakers o Amplifiers o DSP o Equipment Racks o Audio Related Networking 1. Install new equipment in designated rack locations and portable racks as noted in drawings. 2. Provide new electrical 208v circuits for the amplifiers located in the rack locations as noted in drawings. 3. Provide and install new loudspeaker systems in locations noted in drawings. 4. Remove existing speakers and return to the university. 5. Provide and install new loudspeaker cabling between the amp rack locations and all loudspeaker locations. 6. Provide and install 12 strand fiber optic cable between AVR-01 rack location and AVR-02 rack location. Terminate in LIU with ST connectors. 7. Provide and install new audio signal cable between locations noted on drawings. 8. Provide and install all loudspeakers and associated amplifiers as specified and shown in the design documents. 9. Provide and install a dedicated ethernet network for audio, DSP, and system control devices. 10. Provide and install audio source devices as specified. 11. Provide, install, and terminate Whirlwind Multi-Pair audio snake to match custom portable rack plate. 12. Provide and install specified controls in dedicated locations as shown in the design documents. 13. Contractor is responsible for assembly, secondary modifications and mounting of all audio components onto existing structures within the facility. 14. Provide and install all equipment listed in the Bid Form document. Include all equipment not specifically listed but required to provide a completely functional system as part of this RFP. 15. There is a significant amount of DSP programming required to direct, matrix, and control audio signals required for coordination of several audio channels for stadium events, presentations, and broadcast functions. Coordinate with the Owner regarding the expected programming for functionality within the audio DSP and sub-systems throughout the facility. 16. Provide DSP programming for necessary Graphical User Interface(s) (GUI) and system control. 17. Deliver sample DSP GUIs for review by the Owner at least six weeks prior to system completion. Owner will review and sign off on functionality or provide requests for revisions. Revisions to DSP programming is the responsibility of the Contractor at no additional cost to the Owner through three programming revisions. 18. Provide all required permits and licenses. 19. Provide on-site installation supervisor per Section 1.7.E. 20. Coordinate work with other trades and coordinate scheduling with the construction supervisor to minimize delays. 21. Deliver all Equipment to site and convey to appropriate locations within site as directed by Owner.
