Site work for a water / sewer project in Dakota City, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Dakota City, Nebraska is requesting proposals to complete a test hole/test well for a planned municipal water supply well at a proposed well site. The Contractor shall be responsible to construct all test holes/test wells in accordance with Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy (NDEE) rules, Recommended Standards for Water Works (Ten States Standards) and the engineer provided specifications. The well driller must be a licensed well driller within the State of Nebraska. It is desired the test hole/test well be completed within ninety (90) calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. The desired capacity of the finished well(s) shall be a minimum of 800 gallons per minute, with 1,000 gallons per minute preferred if available. It is estimated a Dakota Sandstone Aquifer test hole/test well at the specified location will be approximately 250 feet deep, with an allowance for up to 100 additional vertical feet maximum.
