Project Name: Wellton Canal - Imperial Dam Rd & Imperial Dam Rd - Aberdeen Project (TRACS) Number: 095 YU 038 F0608 01D & 095 YU 044 F0605 01D District: Southwest (SW) Route/MP: US 95 / 038 and 044 Funding Source: F0605 01D & F0608 01D Construction Funding FY: 2025 Due to the close proximity and timing of the two projects and what is considered in the State's best interest, the two projects will be advertised and awarded to one Consultant firm. However, the work needed for each project will be done under two separate scopes of work. The two projects, Wellton Canal - Imperial Dam Rd F0608 and Imperial Dam Rd - Aberdeen F0605 are located on US 95 between Yuma and Quartzsite. The purpose of the design projects are to widen the traveling lanes and add safety improvements. This will require additional R/W to be acquired from approximately 12 ADOT parcels. Impacted ownerships anticipated include BLM, BOR, Az SLD, US Army & private parcels. The initial scope tasks for each project are anticipated to be for Right of Way Survey and Final R/W Plans. Right of Way Survey: The selected Consultant will prepare two R/W Surveys; one from MP 38.4 to MP 42.3 (F0608), and the other from MP 42.3 to MP 53.3 (F0605). The surveys will be within Sections 2, 3 & 4 of T8SR21W, Sections 1, 12, 13, 14 23, 26 & 35 of T7S-R21W, Section 36 of T6S-R21W and Sections 3, 4, 9, 16, 17, 20, 29, 30 & 31 of T6S-R20W. The R/W Surveys and Results of Survey drawings will be a verification/reconstitution/updating of portions of the Results of Surveys prepared for R/W projects 095 YU 032 H4599 01R / U 095-B-701 dated 2001, R/W project 095 YU 042 H7022 01R dated 2013 and R/W project 095 YU 034 F0359 dated 2022. Anticipated due date of the initial review submittal of the Results of Surveys: September 22, 2023. Final R/W Plans: The selected Consultant will prepare Final R/W plans for the two projects. Number of anticipated parcels = 12. Anticipated due date of the initial review of the revised Final R/W Plans': December 18, 2023. As the project progresses, it is anticipated that additional scope tasks that may be requested on this project will be Revise Final R/W Plans, Initial R/W Staking and Final R/W Monumentation Survey.
