A. The work will done under one prime contract. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. The Work under this contract includes but is not limited to replacement of the existing electronic security system in the South Housing buildings at MCF Lino Lakes. This will include door control and touch screen stations, intercom system, and video system. Along with partial upgrades to fire alarm and building automation systems. All visitors are required to provide "Packet Application for Access" and a copy of their driver's license and the company they represent, as part of pre-registration (this information is located after section 01 56 37). Driver's license is required for admittance. No cameras, phones, computers, or tablets will be allowed inside the Facility. The Section 00 41 73 Prime Contractor Response Form, which includes the attachments listed in the project manual table of contents, is posted within the VirtuBid area of the Plan Room. The Response Form must be downloaded, completed, and uploaded with the bid before it can be posted. This solicitation includes qualification requirements. Attachment C of the Response Form contains the qualification requirements for the solicitation. Qualification requirements include, but are not limited to: Responding company has completed as a Prime Contractor or as a Subcontractor, the work for at least 2 contracts which have achieved Substantial Completion since March 21, 2018, for construction in a secure detention or mental health facility. Each of these contracts MUST have had a construction value of $300,000 or greater. Project Manager and Job Superintendent responsible for this project EACH has had at least 2 contracts with experience with work in a secure detention or mental health facility similar in scope and value to this project. Each of these contracts must have had a construction value of $300,000 or greater. All questions should be submitted no later than March 14, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. CT. The State is not obligated to answer questions submitted after the question due date and time.
