Site work and paving for a road / highway in Soldotna, Alaska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Work Will Include, But Not Be Limited To Prepping Road For Gravel Cap (grade And Shape), Cap The Existing Roads With Kpb Type Ii Borrow, And Blend Driveways. Results From A Current Gradation Test Must Be Submitted Prior To Work Commencing. A Gradual Transition Will Be Required At Each End Of The Project. No Excavation Is Proposed. Borrow Must Be Compacted To At Least 95% Compaction Of The Maximum Density. All Work Will Comply With Kpb Chapter 14.06 Road Standards, And Applicable Sections Of The State Of Alaska Department Of Transportation And Public Facilities standard Specifications For Highway Construction 2004. The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit a firm price for acceptance by the Borough to place gravel on the following Central Region Roads: ITB23-007 Gravel Project - Central Region, Units 2, 5 & 10 Irons Avenue, 750 cubic yards KPB Type II; Delta Avenue, 100 cubic yards KPB Type II Panoramic Drive, 500 cubic yards KPB Type II; Deville Road, 750 cubic yards KPB Type II Requests from Bidders for interpretation or clarification of the Bid Documents shall be made in writing to the Purchasing and Contracting Director and shall arrive no later than 5:00 PM on March 7, 2023.
