The purpose of the project is to replace an existing 16-inch through 20-inch prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) and 18-inch through 20-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) with approximately 11,500 LF of 24-inch and 30-inch zinc-coated DIP. The project begins near the intersection of Wade Farm Drive and Factory Shoals Road and extends south along Factory Shoals Road until the intersection with Riverside Parkway. At the intersection of Riverside Parkway and Factory Shoals Road the water main ties into the existing Factory Shoals Tank connection before continuing on Riverside Parkway. The alignment follows the west bound lanes of Riverside Parkway until turning onto Cityview Drive where the water main traverses approximately 3,000 linear feet before it's termination point on the existing CCMWA 24-inch water main at Six Flags Parkway. There is an additional project extent on Riverside Parkway south of I-20 between Twin Hill Road and Harbor Way SW which involves 1,000 LF of 8-inch zinc-coated DIP to be sliplined through the existing CCMWA 20-inch and 24-inch PCCP. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
