Inventory and maintenance of Hadley building fire protection systems, and conduct inspections as required by the National Fire Protection. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking to secure the services of an experienced and qualified vendor (referred to as "Contractor" herein) to provide testing, inspection, preventive maintenance, repair, replacement and emergency services (24 hours a day, seven days a week) for all Fire Protection Systems and Equipment (Fire Protection S&E) in the building. Fire Protection S&E includes, but is not limited to, fire alarm system and fire extinguishers. The chosen Contractor may, if qualified, perform all Contract services directly, or may at the Departments approval engage the services of qualified subcontractors (to be managed by the Contractor as described herein). These services shall be provided for Hadley building is hereinafter referred to as the "Contracted Building". The Contractor shall furnish the work required to maintain optimum operation and optimum safety at all times for the Contracted Building's Fire Protection Systems and Equipment (collectively "S&E"). These activities include all required and regular preventive maintenance, inspection, testing, trouble shooting, repair and replacement in order to keep the systems fully operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
