Renovation of a museum in Sonoma, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.

In general, the work consists of an HVAC modernization to the existing Depot Building including but not limited to; Fan coil installation, exhaust fan installation, duct routing and hanging, refrigerant pipe routing and hanging, construction of heat pump equipment housekeeping pads, and electrical connections/system integration of mechanical equipment as set forth within the project Plans and Specifications All bids shall be presented under sealed cover and accompanied by one of the following forms of Bidder's security: cash, certified check or Bidder's bond. Bonds shall be duly executed by a responsible corporate surety, authorized to issue such bonds in the State of California, and secured through an authorized agent with an office in California. The check or bond shall be made payable to the City of Sonoma and shall be given as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the work, will enter into an agreement with the City and will furnish the necessary insurance certificates, Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. In case of refusal or failure to enter into said Agreement, the check or Bid Bond, as the case may be, shall be forfeited to the City. Bid Bonds shall comply with the requirements applicable to payment and performance bonds in the Contract Documents and Specifications. The Bidder's Security shall be in an amount equal to at least 10% of the bid amount. A bid will not be considered unless one of the forms of Bidder's security is enclosed with it. SIXTY (60) WORKING DAYS will be allowed for completion of all work under the contract. Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1771, not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character in the county in which this project is performed, and not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for holiday and overtime work fixed as provided under the Cal. Labor Code, shall be paid to all workers employed on this project. Bidders must hold a Class A Contractor's license under the laws of the State of California. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any defects or irregularity in the bidding.
