The Chase Street Bridge Replacement Project involves the replacement of a structurally deficient bridge along Chase Street. The existing bridge is a 23-foot wide, 24-foot long two-lane structure, which will be replaced by a single-span cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete slab, 53-foot wide, 30-foot long concrete bridge with 12-foot high abutments. The new bridge will have a new alignment consisting of two vehicle lanes with shoulders and sidewalks on both sides of the lanes. It will also include water and sewer facility relocations in addition to road approach improvements.
