Site work and renovation of a residential development in Saint Augustine Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The awarded Contractor(s) shall be responsible for providing any and all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and administration necessary to perform rehabilitation work and emergency repairs on sub-standard homes owned and occupied by income-eligible families that have been qualified by the County. The program to administer SHIP and Emergency Housing Rehabilitation shall include Site Inspections to be completed by the County, Contractor Site Visits to individual homes in need of rehabilitation, submittal of Price Proposals by each Contractor, and the County Purchasing Division will issue Task Orders to the Contractor that submits the lowest, responsive, and responsible Price Proposal for each project, or as best serves the interest of the County. The awarded Contractor(s) shall perform/shall be responsible for: o Providing rehabilitation and/or elevation of single family, owner-occupied residential structures, including manufactured home unit (MHU) structures. o Performance of all required construction work on each structure including, but not limited to: ADA compliance, roofing, carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, well and/or septic, HVAC, millwork, flooring, drywall, finishing, removal of hazardous materials, site work, elevation, permitting; construction management, and administration through to project close-out, and any other work that may be required at each property. o Complying with 2012 Florida Accessibility Code for Building Construction, adopted pursuant to section 553.503, Florida Statues o Ensuring compliance with The Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. 3601) as implemented by 24 CFR part 100; Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 701) as implemented by 24 CFR Part 8; Titles II and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 12131-12134), as amended by the ADA Amendments Act of 2008, and as implemented by 28 CFR parts 35 and 36, incorporating the most recent amendments, regulations and rules o Ensuring the safety, dignity, and rights of all homeowners are respected. o Ensuring all project documentation conforms to State and County recordkeeping requirements. o Successfully completing assigned projects within budget and contractual time limitations. Bid Bond None St. Johns County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, waive minor informalities, or award the bid/proposal which best serves the interests of St. Johns County.
