Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Continue to explore sources for public infrastructure funding, parking, and transit related improvements consistent with redevelopment of the Bryn Mawr Village transit area and Municipal Lot 7 proposed in the Bryn Mawr Master Plan. Coordination is required with SEPTA and Amtrak for joint development for mixed-use/structured parking, ADA access improvements to the Bryn Mawr Station and financially feasible redevelopment of Lot 7. The Bryn Mawr Village Zoning District provides density and height compatible with the area and reduces parking ratios to encourage shared parking. The 2016 traffic study analyzed points of congestion and recommend traffic improvements and pedestrian access ways for the entire Bryn Mawr area. Consider installing additional surface parking in Bryn Mawr to meet short term parking needs until the Bryn Mawr Master Plan is implemented. This project is in included in the Township of Lower Merion FY 2023 - 2028 CIP. As of February 24, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
