1.Project Manager to determine the mow schedule and time for each location and will notify contractor seven (7) days in advance. There will be two mows of each location per year (approximately in the spring and early summer). The District reserves the right to request a third mow, as needed. 2. Weeds and grass shall be mowed to height not exceeding four (4) inches. 3. Weed/grass trimming around structures, fence lines, posts, etc. shall be done using a line trimmer. 4. All mowing equipment shall be kept two (2) feet away from the base of trees, and remaining weed/grass to be line trimmed up to one (1) foot away from tree base. 5. All sidewalks, walkways, trails, etc. shall be cleared of clippings and debris prior to leaving the project site. Please direct all questions regarding the Scope of Work and Schedule of Services, in writing to the Bid Manager, Eileen Alcanices at EileenAlcanices@CosumnesCSD.gov. All questions are due to Eileen Alcanices by March 6, 2023 by 10:00 AM. All questions/answers will be posted to through electronically Bid must include prevailing wage. The successful Contractor shall comply with all applicable Labor Code provisions, including but not limited to, hours of labor, employment of apprentices and debarment of contractors. Incomplete proposals and proposals received after the time specified above will be returned. Proposals shall be valid for 90 calendar days after the time specified above. Contract is estimated to begin April/May 2023. The initial term of the Professional Service Agreement (PSA) will be for a twelve (12) month term. The District reserves the option to extend the contract for up to two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods, upon the same terms and conditions as provided in the PSA. The Contractor can propose a price increase, if desired. The contractor should include a cost schedule for years 1, 2 and 3 on the Bid Form (EXHIBIT “C”).
