Guiderail works is part of Asset Renewal Replacement Guide Rails TR 88195. The main work in this contract involves Existing Guiderail Removal and Replacement, and new systems to keep the Regional roads in a state of good repair. Removal and Replacement of Existing Guiderail systems and installation of new systems deemed necessary to meet current standards. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Any bids received from bidders who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR) certified, who have not obtained COR equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $150,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. The Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Estimated Contract Price.
