Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Newmarket, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade, 44-bed multi-residential development.
Inn From The Cold (IFTC) is a grassroots non-profit charity that currently provides emergency shelter and transitional housing services in Newmarket, Ontario and are looking to expand their services to a 44-bed facility on a new site at 17046 Yonge Street. The purpose of this request for submissions is to pre-qualify General Contractors to participate in the preparation and submission of detailed tenders for this work. *IFTC is currently applying for CMHC's Rapid Housing Initiative and should this be unsuccessful will apply for CMHC's Co-Investment Fund. *Either program is a financially viable option for the project. *Square footage is not currently available. *Construction cost is unreleased for publication.
