Building 66048 located at the Starfire Optical Range at Kirtland AFB, NM. This project consists of a Minor Construction portion and a Repair portion. The Minor Construction scope is to construct a new two-story addition to existing Building 66048 located at the Starfire Optical Range at Kirtland AFB, NM. This new construction will be approximately 7,800 square feet (4,850 square feet on the first floor and 2,950 square feet on the second floor) have a reinforced concrete foundation, with structural studs exterior studs, exterior insulated fiber system (EIFS), and structurally sloped TPO roofing system. The HVAC systems will be multi-zoned controlled. The repair scope is to upgrade approximately 1,000 square feet of existing space in B66048, to include restrooms and the building's main entrance lobby. Two bid options have been identified. Bid Option 1 is the repair of two existing restrooms (Rooms 172 and 174) in B66048. Bid Option 2 is the purchase and installation of furniture for the new addition. *Drawings and Room Requirements has been released.
