The project consists of site related work, drainage improvements, pavement removal, PCC pavement, curb and gutter, driveway replacement, and sidewalk reconstruction. General City of Hillsboro is seeking Statements of Qualiications from Consulting Engineering irms interested in providing Phase I & II engineering services for the Fairground Avenue Reconstruction. The project consists of site related work, drainage improvements, pavement removal, PCC pavement, curb and gutter, driveway replacement, and sidewalk reconstruction. And is federally funded with an anticipated letting date of June 2024. If your irm would like to be considered for these services, you may respond to our oice at the address indicated. Responding irms should not submit, either formerly or informally, to the City any verbal or written estimate of cost in terms of dollars, hours, percentage of construction cost, or any other measure of compensation. Limit your letter of interest to no more than four pages. Interview or presentation will not be required for the irm selection. The QBS based selection will be fully compliant with federal requirements of 23 CFR 172 and the Brooks Act as described in Section 5-5 of the BLRS Manual, speciically Section 5-5.06(e). Qualiications Firms must be IDOT prequaliied in the following categories: Highways - Roads and Streets; Special Studies - Location Drainage; Location Design Studies - Reconstruction / Major Rehabilitation; Special Services - Surveying. The Statement of Qualiications shall describe the capabilities of your irm and emphasize its specialties and strengths. It should include a statement that indicates your irms understanding of the project as well as information on key personnel you would assign to the project. Please include previous work history with the City as well. Conlict of interest The City of Hillsboro require consultants to submit a disclosure statement with their procedures. The City of Hillsboro require the use of the IDOT BDE DISC 2 Template as their conlict of interest form.
