Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a transportation facility in Punta Gorda, Florida. Completed plans call for the addition of a 51,500-square-foot transportation facility; for the demolition of a transportation facility; for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

The intent of this solicitation is to select and Design/Build Team to provide design, permitting, bidding, construction, and closeout services for the expansion and renovation of the existing commercial terminal building facility. The expansion is anticipated to provide approximately 51,500 additional square feet of space consisting of holdroom space, public circulation, public restrooms and concessions. The project also includes the renovation of approximately 30,500 square feet of the existing terminal. These renovations will include modifying the existing holdroom spaces into expanded security screening checkpoint space, queuing, public circulation, arrivals, concessions, and other support space. The project also includes two enabling phases - the relocation of aircraft parking positions, and the relocation of drainage structures and any required grading modifications to the aircraft parking apron as a result of the relocation of the drainage structures. The final phase will require the design and construction of an extension of the access road to the north along the front of the terminal to provide additional curbside for passenger drop off and pickup.
