DSA File No.: 24-61, PTN: 65870-08 WSD | Sparkes ES - Relocatable Classrooms - 7265 Almond Avenue Winton, CA 95388 1. Modular Classroom Buildings: Installation of the sitework and utility connections associated with the new Modular Classrooms. a. Demolition, removal and replacement of designated site features including but not limited to earthwork, landscaping, irrigation, paving, and underground utilities. b. Site work Contractor/General Contractor is responsible for all demolition work and construction associated with preparing the site. Including: 1) Removal of existing paving, earthwork removal, preparation of the Modular Classroom Building pad, 2) Compaction of sub-grade pad (to 95% relative compaction, unless otherwise specified or detailed), 3) Offsite disposal of all paving and sub-grade and foundation earth soils not required to meet final design grades, and 4) Installation of the AC Paving below the Modular Classroom Buildings. c. Concrete Paving including: Walkways, etc. d. Connection of utilities and existing on-site infrastructure systems. Connection includes connection to building services points of connection. e. Off-Site Disposal of excavated materials. f. Installation of low voltage systems. g. Grading and Drainage improvements. h. Take possession of the Modular Classroom Building. i. Building Signage j. Surveying and establishment of elevations and building corners. k. Landscape and Irrigation improvements to reduce water usage. l. Final site and building clean up. 2. Building G: Interior Renovations to Student and Staff Restrooms Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code, and be licensed to perform the work called for in the Contract Documents. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active Class A and/or B License at the time of award and throughout the duration of this Contract. The Contractor's California State License number shall be clearly stated on the bidder's proposal. Prevailing wages are applicable to the Project. These per diem rates, including holiday and overtime work, as well as employer payments for health and welfare, pension, vacation, and similar purposes, are available from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations. Separate payment and performance bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total Contract amount issued by a California admitted surety as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, are required, and shall be provided to the Owner prior to execution of the Contract and shall be in the form set forth in the Contract Documents. campus wide improvements - o demolition of existing fencing; o new fencing, gates, & hardware; o site utilities and utility connections for new relocatable classrooms (stockpile); o foundation prep and underfloor paving slab for new relocatable classrooms (stockpile); o signal and fire alarm systems within new relocatable classrooms (stockpile); o site work surrounding new relocatable classrooms; o installation of three (3) new relocatable classrooms (stockoile); building g: remodel of the existign student & staff restrooms.
