The Town is soliciting for Bid Phase and Construction Phase Engineering Services to complete the PHIPPS OCEAN PARK Improvements Project. The selected Construction Engineering Phase Service Contractor will collaborate and oversee work of the selected Construction Manager at Risk (Burkhardt Construction) based on design and specifications prepared by Raymond Jungles Inc., Fairfax, Sammons & Partners, and Kimley-Horn & Associates. Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach contracted Kimley-Horn to prepare design and specifications. The implementation of the approved park master plan of improvements consists of work for relocation of the historic Little Red School House, reconfiguration of park entry points, installation of native vegetation, reconfiguration of existing parking lots, new signage, lighting, proposed pathways, pickleball courts, new playground, various park amenities, coastal restoration facility, new restrooms and picnic areas. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. The Town further reserves the right to award the contract to that proposer whose proposal best complies with the RFQ specifications. No proposer may withdraw their proposals for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) days from the date set for the opening thereof. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
