Site work for a water / sewer project in Gardiner, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

For Sewer Rehabilitation Project The project consists of the following: o Coordinate with the Town of Gardiner Supervisor or his/her designatee. o Furnish and install approximately 4 linear feet of 4" Cured-In-Place Pipe Lining (Trenchless Point Repair). o Furnish and install thirty (30) septic tank risers to existing septic tanks. o Perform manhole rehabilitation and repairs on thirty-two (32) manholes. o Maintenance and protection of traffic. o Perform Hydro Jetting and cleaning in eight (8) locations as shown on plans. o Permits, including NYSDOT Permits, are the responsibility of the Contractor. o This project is subject to Federal Prevailing Wage Rates (Davis-Bacon), in addition to the New York State Prevailing Wage Rates. In case of a discrepancy between the two schedules, the higher wage, benefit, etc. shall govern. o This project is anticipated to receive Federal Funding. Requirements for contracting with Small and Minority Businesses, Women's Business Enterprises, and labor surplus area firms can be found in the Contract Documents. Additional information regarding domestic procurements, Davis-Bacon Requirements and Equal Employer Opportunity can also be found in the Contract Documents. o The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, utilities, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work as specified in the Technical Specifications and as shown on the Plans. Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Guarantee in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of the Bid, payable to the Town of Gardiner as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract and file acceptable Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after the award of the Contract. The Town of Gardiner hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any Bid in the interest of the Owner. Bidders are required to execute a non-collusion bidding certificate pursuant to Section 103d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements relating to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, and Executive Order 11246. Bidders are also required to comply with the provisions of Sections 291-299 of the Executive Law of the State of New York and all other applicable laws and regulations. The Town of Gardiner hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in regard to any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award. All checks shall be drawn payable to Pitingaro & Doetsch Consulting Engineers P.C. and mailed via first class mail to 15 Industrial Drive, Suite 2, Middletown, NY 10941---- OR --- these documents may be sent electronically for $25.00 upon an email request to Linda Kump at lkump@panddengineers.com.
