Site work and paving for a transportation facility in North Clarendon, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
Town of Clarendon, County of Rutland. Rutland-Southern Vermont Regional Airport (RUT) Type of Construction: Rehabilitate, Mark and Light Runway 1-19. (Approx. 5304' X 100'). The project involves resurfacing the existing Runway 1-19 bituminous pavement (5,304' x 100') and marking the runway pavement. Also included is an additive alternate project to replace the existing runway edge lights, conduit and cable and install new LED runway lights with new conduit and cable back to the vault. Runway 13-31 will also be resurfaced and marked up to the Runway 1-19 safety area. A portion of Runway 1-19 will be widened in order to restore the 100' width. This widening will involve excavating down approximately 10" to install 6" base course and 4" bituminous. Estimate is category For this proposal the Engineer's Estimate is Category E ($2,500,000 - $5,000,000 ) Electronic Bid Bond to Be Submitted in the Amount of 5% of the Contractor's Bid. During the advertisement period, all questions shall be addressed solely to the Office of Contract Administration via email: AOT.ConstructionContractingInquiry@vermont.gov.
