A. The Work includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation of pipelines, valves and appurtenances, and rehabilitation of existing water pipelines in the City of Newton and Watertown as specified and as indicated. These water mains are known as MWRA Sections 24 and 25 described below. 1. Within the limits of this contract, Section 24, is approximately 3,200 feet long, located within Newton and Watertown, MA, and begins on Saint James Terrace, Newton, MA (Sta. 172+34) and extends to the intersection with Section 25 on Irving Street near Mount Auburn Street, Watertown, MA (Sta. 205+60). 2. Section 25 is approximately 5,900 feet, located within Watertown, MA, and begins at the intersection with Section 24 (Sta. 205+60) and ends at the intersection with Section 59 (Sta. 254+43). All labor/materials/equipment for the installation of 5,900ft of new DI Water pipe, 3,200ft of pipe clean&line, 2 water meters, PRV, valves and appurtenances, and municipal replace of water/sewer/dra W.O.
