Renovation of an educational facility in East Watertown, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. The kitchen renovation at the Watertown Middle School involves select demolition of existing kitchen equipment within the main kitchen space for installation of upgraded equipment. Dish washing equipment within the existing dishwashing room adjacent to the kitchen will be demo'd for a reconfigured dish washing layout which includes a 3-bay sink, ware washer unit and other associated equipment. 2. Selective demolition of the exterior wall abutting the exterior courtyard is required for the installation of a new walk-in freezer and cooler. The walk-in-freezer unit is being supplied separately. The prep. work associated with the walk-in freezer and cooler ie; landscape demo., a new poured-in-place concrete slab is included under the scope of work of this project. B. Type of Contract 1.
