Paving for a bridge / tunnel in Seward, Alaska. Completed plans call for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
**As of May 9, 2023, project was awarded to Metco Alaska, LLC, awarded amount is $259,442.80.** The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to provide bids to furnish all labor materials and equipment to replace Old Exit Glacier Bridge in Seward. Work includes, but is not limited to culvert installation, roadbed reconstruction, and repair. A pre-bid conference will be held on March 8, 2023, at 10 AM at 47140 East Poppy Lane, Soldotna, Alaska. Attendance at the pre-bid is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. If you are unable to attend but would like to participate, we are offering the opportunity for you to call in and join the pre-bid meeting. The number to call is (907) 262-2044. This contract is subject to the provision of State of Alaska, Title 36, Minimum Wage Rates.
