The name of the Tendering Firm and the title of the Project shall be clearly marked on the envelope. Tenders will be opened in public immediately following close of Tenders. Please note that the tender opening will take place in the lobby of the Eugène LeBlanc Arena. No award will be made at the Tender Opening. Tendering procedures shall conform to the requirements of the Crown Construction Contracts Act and Regulation 82-109. Each Tender shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified Cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Tender Price, payable to the Village de Memramcook. The successful Tenderer will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labour and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the value of the Contract, or a Certified Cheque in the amount of 10% of the value of the Contract amount upon award. Work under this Contract generally includes the supply of all labour, materials, plant, equipment and incidentals necessary for the connection of a new production well to the existing wellhouse in Memramcook Est, installation of a transmission watermain by open trench methods, construction/upgrading of existing access road and well site pad, ditching, site grading and installation of cross culverts, connection of a new production well to the existing wellhouse, complete with well pitless unit and submersible pump, all piping, conduits, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, materials, incidentals, pressure testing, flushing, disinfection, start-up testing and commissioning and reinstatement of all disturbed areas.
