No definite date for the rebid.** It is the intent of this bid invitation to obtain bids for playground improvements to be constructed at six (6) elementary schools within Henderson County. The improvements are to be constructed at the following elementary schools - Clear Creek, Bruce Drysdale, Hendersonville, Hillandale, Mills River and Upward. All products and/or services rendered by the vendor must meet all requirements of this invitation and be completely satisfactory to using agencies. Contractor shall construct the improvements at Bruce Drysdale, Hendersonville and Upward schools first. A five-percent (5%) bid security is required in the form of a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond (executed by a corporate surety licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute such bonds), or a certified check (on some bank or trust insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation) made payable to Henderson County Public Schools For bids equal to or greater than $500,000.00, the successful bidders shall provide Henderson County Public Schools both Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount equal to one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
