As of November 7, 2023, an award has been made. The Village of Bartlett is in need of Phase I, II & III engineering services for the Village's 2023 Various Streets Resurfacing Project. This project includes HMA milling and resurfacing, curb & gutte/sidewalk replacement, pavement marking and restoration. Budget and Funding: The estimated total budget for this project is approximately $1.3 million (engineering and construction). Funding for all phases of engineering will be available at the start of the Village's fiscal year - May 1st, 2023. Preliminary engineering may begin prior, but no invoices shall be submitted or payments made before May 1st . Timeline: This project is intended to be completed by October 1st, 2023. Letting and bidding dates will be based around the Village's board meeting schedule. It will be the responsibility of the awarded firm to coordinate these schedules with the Village. Scope of Services The awarded firm shall be responsible for all engineering services necessary to successfully bid, award, and oversee the completion of the above project. This work may include, but not be limited to: Determination of removal limits for asphalt surfaces, curb and gutter, sidewalk, etc. ADA crosswalk design (as needed) Preparation of bid documents Coordination with IDOT and the General Contractor Material and shop drawing reviews Construction inspection and documentation per IDOT requirements Preparation and processing of pay requests and change orders Preparation of project closeout documents SOI Submittal Requirements: The following information shall be included to help the Village of Bartlett select a consultant(s) for the above referenced project(s). Names and resumes (limit resume to three (3) pages) of the key staff to be assigned to this project. Related experience during the last five (5) years by the proposed staff.
