For Votee Park Basketball Court The work to be performed under this contract includes the following: The work described herein and to be performed in accordance with the requirements of the plans and these specifications consist of the clearing and removal of existing basketball court, construction of a concrete pad and utilities for the new basketball court, concrete and asphalt walkway, and other incidental items. Principal items of work in the project include: 400 TONS 2" Hot Mixed Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course 600 TONS 3" Hot Mixed Asphalt 19M64 Base Course 2,600 SY Basketball Court Surface Paint 650 LF Remove and Replace 10' High Chain Link Fence Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications. Bids will be accepted in the following ways: 1. Bids will be received at the hour and on the date specified above. Bids submitted at this time shall be addressed to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk, Township of Teaneck 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and shall satisfy all previously mentioned requirements. 2. Bids can be mailed: All mailed bids shall be addressed to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope: "Bid for Votee Park Basketball Court" All mailed bids shall be mailed employing a formal mail receipt procedure such as Certified Return Receipt and shall also satisfy all of the above requirements. 3. Bids can be hand delivered prior to the date or hour specified. In this case, the bids shall be delivered to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk, Township of Teaneck 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and shall also satisfy all the above requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility to make sure that the bid is submitted on time and to the proper location. The work shall be completed within Forty-Five (45) consecutive calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed. "Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et. seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq." All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days except as may be permitted by N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3.
