For Portable Emergency Standby Generator and Automatic Transfer Switch The Town of Castleton wants to purchase a trailer-mounted generator intended for power supplement and emergency standby usage for pump stations and main plant critical operations The Town reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids received. The Town does not assume any liability of responsibility for errors/omissions in any document transmitted electronically One copies of bid should be firmly sealed in an envelope which shall be clearly marked on the outside, "BID - PURCHASE OF A TRAILER-MOUNTED PORTABLE GENERATOR & AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH for the Town of Castleton (BID # 2023-02-22-2)." Any bid received after the due date and time indicated will not be accepted and will be deemed rejected and returned, unopened, to the bidder. Any professional certifications or licenses that may be required will be the sole cost and responsibility of the successful bidder. Questions regarding the Town of Castleton's payment of sales/use tax can be directed to the Town of Castleton Town Manager at (802) 468-5319, ext. 203. The Town reserves the right to periodically audit all charges and services made by the bidder to the Town for services provided under the contract. Upon request, the bidder agrees to furnish the Town with necessary information and assistance. In the event of any correction of defects or replacement of defective material during the warranty period, the warranty for the corrected/replaced material shall be extended to a further period of 12 months.
