The Bethlehem Area School District is soliciting proposals for the following: Landscape Maintenance Service at Thirteen (13) BASD Properties - One Year This service agreement shall be for a period of one (1) growing season, starting March 21, 2023, and expiring on January 31, 2024 at thirteen (13) select district properties, which represents approximately half of the district's properties requiring landscape maintenance services. Each proposal shall be irrevocable for a period of ninety (90) days from date of opening. It is the intent of the district to award landscaping maintenance services at thirteen (13) select district properties to one successful company. Pricing will be considered on a per building basis and calculated based on the total cost of twenty-eight (28) complete cuts, two (2) shrub/tree trimmings, and two (2) leaf removal/general cleanups for a one (1) year period. After award, the successful company will submit a certified check, bank cashier's or treasurer's check, money order, or a performance bond to the Bethlehem Area School District to be retained if the successful company fails to comply with the specifications. Performance surety amount will be based on value of one cutting/trimming of all awarded buildings. Companies who find discrepancies in these specifications or are in doubt shall notify Mr. Mark R. If it is deemed necessary, additional instructions in the form of bulletins will be issued to all companies. Only written changes will be binding. Oral or other changes, interpretations, or clarifications will be without legal effect. It is the responsibility of the company to indicate on the proposal form any discrepancies between this proposal and the school district's specifications. In the absence of the same, all proposals will be conclusively presumed to be based solely on the school district's specifications. The district reserves the right to reject all proposals and not award contracts.
