Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Scott Twp, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Bids are Invited for the following Community Development Block Grant Project(s): Scott Township Joe Terry Center ADA Restroom Project., as designed by, KBA Engineering, PC, 25 South Washington Ave., Jermyn, Pa., as shown on construction drawings and in accordance with the contract specifications. The purpose of project will be reconstructing the existing restrooms in the township building to meet current ADA and accessibility requirements. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashiers check, the bid bond should be issued to the Lackawanna County Treasurer, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%). Bidders must submit with their bids all forms listed in the Attachments to Plans and Specifications. Prevailing wages established under the Davis-Bacon Act will apply to this contract. The contract documents contain requirements addressing prevailing labor wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority and female participation, MBE and WBE participation, participation by Section 3 residents and businesses, and related matters. Bidders who have been contacted and to whom commitments have been made must submit documentary evidence of minority and women business enterprises and Section 3 business concerns. Documentation of such solicitations and commitments shall be submitted concurrently with the bid. Lackawanna County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days.
