The project includes all aspects of construction for the installation of new treatment equipment into existing equipment spaces and the integration into the current plumbing system. Work also comprises electrical tasks, controls and alarms setup, and modifications to existing power panels. Start-up and training are also included. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of Lakeland School District, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, must accompany each bid. Bidders are required to submit a fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit and any additional supporting documents with the bid. Bids may be retained by Lakeland School District for up to 60 days for bid review and qualification verification prior to contract award. The school district retains the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates Determination #26-02804 (as amended) applies to this project.
